More exciting news from Kanon Wakeshima
Following her performance at Otakon in Baltimore, the Japanese Visual- Kei artist Kanon Wakeshima announces two in-store appearances in California. These appearances will feature a exclusive in-store performance and a autograph session.
July 20th - San Francisco - Amoeba Music
July 21st - Los Angeles - Royal T Cafe
Kanon Wakeshima supporting her latest release “Shinshoku Dolce” released in North America by Maru Music. This highly anticipated first album, demonstrates Kanon’s talents as a Visual-Kei artist. Being the one and only cello player in the Visual-Kei scene, Kanon’s melodic voice and unique cello playing truly reaches the fans hearts.
For those in the Los Angeles area, Royal T Cafe will also be exhibiting Kanon’s artwork the day of the performance.
A talented artist in both music and drawing, Kanon’s talents drew the attention of the famous and reclusive producer Mana. Mana of the famous goth-art-rock group Moi Dix Mois not only produced Kanon’s album, but also oversees her art, fashion and music videos. Mana’s influence brought Kanon’s debut single “still doll” as the ending theme for the highly popular anime series “Vampire Knight.” This influence has molded Kanon into a much more mature artist then her contemporaries.
